Goodreads asked Esly Carvalho:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Esly Carvalho I usually have several writing projects going at the same time, so when I get stuck, I pull out the outlines and look them over. That tends to give me the "gas" to get going again. I also try to remember how good it feels when it is done! yes! and if I am really stuck, I go away somewhere for a few days, just me and my computer and I know I can't come back until it's done. That gives the message to my "Writer's Block" inside that it's time for it to take a vacation. Finally, if it doesn't go away, I have an "inner conversation" with Writer's Block and see what it will take for my Adult Author to get past it and together we negotiate a solution.
