Goodreads asked Frank Amoroso:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Frank Amoroso One tactic is to follow the advice of Ernest Hemingway who said that he would stop writing before he has drained the well. He always left something else to write. This helped prime him when he started his next writing session.
I combat writer's block by using my subconscious mind. When I drift off to sleep, I think about a character or scene that is giving me trouble. Amazingly, I frequently wake up with the problem solved.
My brain wrestles with the block while I rest. Let me know if this works for you.
