Goodreads asked Jason M. Brooks:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Jason M. Brooks I think every writers path is different and giving advice isn't always the best thing a published author can do. I think we all need to explore that road on our own and let it be our own journey.

What works for me won't necessarily work for you. What worked for him, won't necessarily work for you or I, either.

If you want to be a writer, be a writer. Take the traditional publishing route. Take the self-publishing route. Blaze your own path. But whatever you do, just go and do it. Let your passion for writing guide you and make it a reality.
