No cliff-hanger ending in this book. Mera and Shadow's get their HEA. BUT, we will hear more about Angel and Reece in book 4. The first chapter of book 4 is available on the kindle version of Reborn.

The initial story arc for Mera and the Shadow Beast is concluded with this book but there are spin offs with other characters (which will of course feature Shadow and Mera). So no cliff hanger ending in this book as it concludes the original trilogy but it's not the end of the series.

The author did describe Reborn as the final chapter in this story at the end of book 2 so let's see.
