This book is not good for young kids who aren't exposed to the idea of killing. But, for teenagers around 12 and up, it's perfectly fine. I read this at thirteen and I was completely A-OK with it. The only part troubling for young users, is the gruesome killing scenes.
If I remember correctly, there isn't any intimacy scenes either so you're good on that.
