Goodreads asked W.I. Zard:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

W.I. Zard I don't. I suffer from writer's block greatly. I think it comes to you when its supposed to though. Its more like uncovering a mystery than creating a plot. Sometimes you struggle for weeks looking for a tiny clue, others you see clues and truths unfold before your eyes so clearly. It can't be forced. If you feel like writing but can't find the words, take a step back- go for a walk. read a book. have a glass of wine. Sometimes its the situation. How can we expect to find an interesting story to write about if we haven't experienced anything to inspire the story as yet?
