In my opinion I think it is, as it got straight to the point. But I guess that's expected in every book, because you have to introduce the characters and setting sometime.

In my opinion, I think book #1 was waaaaaay better than book #2. Book #2 has a lot more romance, and a tiny bit more violence. But still, book #1 was a lot better.
