Goodreads asked Mollie Bickle Cardwell:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Mollie Bickle Cardwell My advice would be to write about what you know. Pay close attention to all the things that go on around you, your experiences, other's experiences. The simplest incidents can offer a world of topics and emotions. For example: In my book there is a paragraph that describes a setting where two characters demonstrate their love. That particular incident really happened to an old friend who mentioned it when she told me about the death of her daughter. I never forgot it.
