Hello! First, I just have to say that i found Thorn at the book store because it just SPOKE TO ME, like magic, i have no idea how i picked it from 100s of other books with no idea what it would be about and found out it was a retelling of one of my favourite tales, so obviously i had to read it. I wanted to know if the next book in the dauntless path also had some fairy tale inspirations in it?

I'm so thrilled you found Thorn in such a special way, and that you enjoyed it so much! The next book (The Theft of Sunlight) and its sequel don't have a fairy tale inspiration behind them, but I have other stories I'd like tell in the same world that do (including, possibly, a Red Riding Hood adaptation, and possibly, Beauty and the Beast!). But those will be a ways in the future. I'm hoping to build this world with a mix of retellings and my own stories. :)

Dear Ms Khanani, Will there be a second Thorn? I just stayed up half the night reading it, it is absolutely incredible! Your characters especially the Princess Alyrra are so strong. She has become my absolute favorite female protagonist. There seems to be a lot of potential for a sequel. Will there be?

Love how your Sunbolt series is going! i just saw that you confirmed of there being no romantic connection between Val and Hitomi. Also, debts of fire had this scene when Val 'stiffened' at being asked if he had a lover back home. Will we get to see who she is further in the series?
I'd love to see his romantic side, even if it's not with Hitomi:)

Are the Sunbolt Chronicles set in the same world as Thorn? I just finished Thorn (and loved it!) and I’m planning to read the other two books in that series. I don’t have a lot of time though so I want to know if the two series are related in any way so I can decide when to read the Sunbolt Chronicles. Thanks!
