Hi Moses, I force myself to sit down and write nearly every single day. Writing is all about the discipline of daily practice. Inspiration is a bonus but I find I am more inspired by the discipline of actually writing and reconnecting with the half-finished sentence from the day before (I always leave my work with a sentence half-finished so it's easier for me to get started the next day, a little trick I learned from a wise writer long ago). When I'm not writing, I'm often thinking about the story I'm working on. Making dinner and doing all kinds of manual work as a lightkeeper gives me ample time to puzzle over the writing problems I have to solve. Thank you for your interest and good luck with your own writing!
