Jacob Sybertz Yes. but the book is excellent. Read it with an open mind.
♥ Charlotte ♥ Yes, it deals a lot with drugs, sex, breaking-and-entering. The book also deals briefly with prostitution, rape, murder and other mature topics.

If you have read the first book of this series, or any other book written by Ellen Hopkins, than those books are a basic example of her writing style. She writes about the worse problems that teenagers deal with, and uses a lot of sex and drugs throughout all of her books. She is a very talented author, but her work is very mature. I recommend anyone who is looking to read a book of hers for the first time to be 14+, and/or to consider the maturity level of this book be very cautious about what they are reading.
