Did this book have any inappropriate scenes in it?

Nonie That would depend what you consider inappropriate.
As far as violence goes, there's no shortage of blood, and somewhat descriptive scenes with the guillotine, as well as mentions of torture devices and beaten prisoners.
There are also many suggestive comments, both to pretty Sovay, and other girls, shady inns, and passionate kisses. Sovay also offers herself to a man sharing her room, in one scene. (He refuses her.)
Gtygt no, unless you consider a girl wanting to pull the trigger on her "enemy" someone who cheated on her. other than that nope, and its a fantastic book too.
