Alex It's about growing up.

Actually, Fangirl is about a Fangirl — who would have thought — obsessed with Simon Snow (which is like Harry Potter). She writes, she reads, she spends a lot of time on the internet… but then she starts college and she's on her own, in the real world. So she has to deal with the "real life" while still being a part of the fandom and having social anxiety. Fangirl is about experiences, growing up, falling in love, making decisions…
Peyton Terry This book is about this girl, Cath and her twin sister Wren.
Throughout their childhood, they are obsessed with a series of books while going through their mother leaving them and even through high school. When college arrives, Wren has gotten over it, but Cath hasn't. She still loves it and writes fan fiction about it. At college, she doesn't come out of her room much. Then, she becomes friends with her roommate, Reagan and her 'boyfriend', Levi.
Basically, this story is about Cath falling in love with...someone. And it is also about their family and what they're going through, but mainly, its about a girl who's obsessed with some books and what happens while she's in college.
