So is this book like a continuance of the Trylle trilogy because I will so be reading it if it is. I love those books. I will have to go back and reread all of the Trylle trilogy again before I start this hehe.

Alyssa The Kanin Chronicles seem to be set several years after the Trylle trilogy. Finn is said to be twenty-four in Frostfire (yes, he appears in Frostfire!). Re-reading the Trylle trilogy isn't totally necessary to read Frostfire, but it should be fun! I binge-read the Trylle trilogy before reading Frostfire. I reviewed Frostfire, if you're interested! I really enjoyed the book - possibly even more than I enjoyed the Trylle trilogy :D
