Yes and no. Well if you liked the Divergent series you should like this. The City of Bones is a Dystopian book just like Divergent. But, the The City of Bones (The Whole Mortal Instrument Series) takes a turn into "magic". I would recommend reading it! I couldn't put it down since page one.
