asked:
Can you recommend more books like this? i.e. stuff dealing with climate change in a non-apocalyptic setting? Non-speculative fiction? Thanks!

Suzanne Hamilton
Many of Kingsolver's books. Also, Overstory by Richard Powers.
David Antrobus
Florida by Lauren Groff. They're short stories but often linked, and they have this low-key sense of daily dread and, if anything, are even more well written.
Molly
Olivia Laing's Crudo (2018) -- this book reminded me a lot of it. Similar style, mood, and themes
Annabelle
Barbara Kingsolver's Unsheltered. This one goes from present time (2016 election) and late 1800s (Darwin recently published) and addresses a lot of those issues - climate change, capitalism, science vs religion, etc.
Molly Ferguson
Barbara Kingsolver's Flight Behavior fits that theme.
Esra Tasdelen
Richard Powers' latest book, Bewilderment, also deals with climate change and eco-activism.
