It's not a "good hook", but I enjoyed it. It took a while for me to get into it, but once I was, I loved it.

Personally I adored another one of Ally Carter's series 'Gallagher Girls' but was very disappointed with 'Heist Society', finding it quite boring. The only reason I continued to read the series was in oder to be able to read 'Double Crossed', a book where Ally Carter introduced the main characters from both Gallagher Girls and Heist Society.

I thought it was a good book, but some people also find it boring(which some parts, I agree)! It all depends on what YOU like to read.
