Amanda This book deals with the subject of systemic racism in a way that is uncomfortable for many people- apparently, white middle-aged people specifically- so I'm not surprised that it's polarizing. Many people don't like to admit what's blatantly sitting in front of them, and don't enjoy being confronted with the harshness of a reality that doesn't affect them.
Vicki Renee Right on, Amanda! To the many "Karens" and "BBQ Beckys" out there it will likely not resonate
