It's primarily about friendship but there's a heavy emphasis on queer sexuality. It plays only a small roll on the story imo, but it's definitely there. Main character is bisexual. Another character is closeted. Another is lesbian. Little emphasis is put on the side characters' orientation and none on the sexual nature of these relationships, but its a key, albeit not pivotal, point in the main character's arc.
