Absolutely.
There is no reason why a young teen wouldn't enjoy this. It's a story of coming of age (albeit a bit later than the usual teen fanfare) and how following your heart can bring fulfillment, even if it's not the easiest way to go.
There are some cursewords, though, but nothing your teen hasn't heard a million times before. And there's a bit of a physical fight in the end, but it's never overly gory or gratuitous.
