Scott Chapman
Scott Chapman asked Belle Blackburn:

How much do you plan your work in advance and how much do you think as you hit the keyboard?

Belle Blackburn I tend to work the basic idea out in my head before I start writing. I'm not a plotter on paper as things tend to evolve and characters announce their presence to me while I'm writing. My first book was a murder mystery but I had no idea what happened until I wrote it near the end. I write very linearly, start to finish. Everybody has a different method and should do whatever works for them.
