Let me start by saying thanks for the great stories! I've been saving "French Leave" like a good vintage, waiting for a special day, lol. I just started it, but Elvenham brings up a question: Will we see more of the Morrigan? That's a pretty cool character. I'd love to see more participation from her in the stories.

And first of all can I say Thank You for being such a long-time fan of the King’s Watch - it's great to acknowledge those of you who have been there since the publication of the first book.
The Morrigan is not just scary, she pretty much embodies terror, as you'd expect from the goddess of war and death. Conrad has told me that he is *not* keen to see her again, but the gods move in their own way, and who knows when he may run across her, especially if he has to go to Ireland for some reason (so watch out for Five Leaf Clover).
I sincerely hope that you enjoy French Leave - and the reappearance of several old enemies.

Hi Mark I’m thoroughly enjoying the Conrad Clarke series and have just bought 7 Stars but feel I’ve missed a book or short story? The first chapter in 7 Stars starts with Sophie and Alain becoming entangled but I don’t remember reading about this in 8 Kings? Have I missed something?
