Barbara Newhall

In the decades since he first wrote this book, Dobson has not altered his views on corporal punishment as as way to bring children into submission to parents and ultimately God (who sends the disobedient to hell). Victor Ward I feel like this isn't really a question as much as an accusation. I don't think Dobson sees it as a method to place fear into the child, so unless you can reconcile those base premises you won't really get a satisfactory answer one way or the other.
