I was wondering if somebody could help me out. (Sorry if the characters names are different, I read the French one) So near the beginning of the book Vivianne is searching her locker yelling "where are my keys". Chloe (Charlie in French) says she saw Peter (Renaud in French) doing the same thing before he died. I was wondering how these are linked. When do keys pop up again? If somebody could help me.

Shelby Suderman I think that scene was just a way to transition into the memory Chloe had of seeing Peter rifling through his own locker. It's been a while since I've read the book though.
