I did not understand what the first part of the story "The Life of Chuck" had to do with the second part of the story. Can someone help me understand what the billboards and the stars going out had to do with Chuck's real life? I haven't read the last two stories yet. After "Chuck" I had give myself a break and start on Baldacci's latest book. Now THAT book I can understand :-).

Walt Creed The end of the world was the end of Chuck, the world was part of him so when he died it did as well. The story was told in reverse order.
