Goodreads asked S.C. Hutchinson:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

S.C. Hutchinson When I notice that I am suffering from writer's block, I put my pen down and start working on something that allows my mind to wander. That is when things suddenly pop into my head. Another method I use is word association. For example, I'm working with a deadline on my final installment of The Highland Stones Trilogy. I will re-read what I have written and will then do a word association bubble. That often leads me to figuring out how I want to get from point A (what I have written already) to point B (what I want the result of the scene to be).
