A big YES! this woman can write. This book can hold you spellbound. Time well spent. The 1980's movie made from this book is not bad either,but don't just read this book read her other books like, Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant,Saint Maybe,Searching for Caleb,The Clock Winder.
