asked:
I know someone who tells the most outrageous lies as if they are simple fact. I often wonder if she thinks the rest of us actually believe her, or if she is even aware that she is in the midst of telling a lie. Does she believe herself? These are the things on which I'd like some input. Is this the book for me, or should I look elsewhere?

I think chapters 6 and 7 of this book might offer some insight into the person you describe.

I think you should try some other book, since this mostly deals with cheating rather than lying, mostly with how lying to oneself facilitates cheating.
