Are there any other books which preceed this one? I mean, I've read Goosebumps and I LOVE R.L. Stine's books, but it makes no sense reading something from the middle.

Wijrefi Fear Street novels are so much better than Goosebums

Theresa Labreglio Fear Street is an entire series... this is the first in the new generation. The original series ran from 1989-1997 and they... are... amazing.
