Goodreads asked Rosetta M. Overman:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Rosetta M. Overman The ideas for all of my books come from outside influence, usually songs, or videogames, and sometimes other books. I’m currently working on two projects, the first in a werewolf story that keeps fluctuating between a duology and a trilogy (it will most likely end with two books) that was inspired by other werewolf stories as well as my own love for all things shifter. The other is a graphic novel script and, if I manage to complete it, it will be my very first of its kind that I’ve personally authored. The change in format was in part inspired by Marvel and DC comics (I’ve been reading quite a few recently to catch up) as well as my own desire to see my characters eventually come to life on the page in a new way. The story itself is borderline sci-fi inspired half by superheroes and half by a play through of Mass Effect: Andromeda, though the sci-fi bit is rather small. It was also inspired, in larger part, by Uncharted 4 (the treasure hunting quality as well as one of the characters). By the time I’m finished, all of it will have morphed into something unrecognizable in comparison to the stories that inspired them.
