Jennifer Heilbrun Woo I can't remember any cursing/vulgar language in the book, not even mild swearing. There is one prominent sexual relationship, but aside from the narrator pointing out that the characters are naked there's no sexual content to speak of. In fact, there are maybe two kisses in the entire novel.

If I had to rate this book, I would probably give it a PG-13 only because extramarital affairs/suspected affairs drive most of the plot. As I said, however, aside from the very rare scene of characters lying naked in bed after the fact, there is no description of sex itself. I hope that helps!
