Lauren Mooney
Lauren Mooney asked:

My friend's 10 month old daughter died unexpectedly. Would this book be appropriate for her? Thank you

Marcus Holmes Absolutely. I realize that I'm responding to this question rather late, but I am enthusiastic about this well-written book. I used it after a breakup with a girlfriend, but it can really be used for any kind of loss. I comment here because I want everyone to know how helpful it can be.
Cavak Of course it would. Not a single foul word within it and it's cheap. Bear in mind that it's written to consider anyone losing any love, so the words of kindness and affirmation may feel like blanket statements for her specific loss.

Try recommending support groups of mothers in mourning if she needs more help. Look online. They exist for a reason.
