Mary Cummins not so much graphic violence but parts of the book were disturbing to me. My mother was born in Ireland and to us the IRA were gods. This book was a real eye opener to the violence they committed in the name of their cause. I never could have imagined the heinous crimes they committed. This is a very moving book- probably the best book I have read in along time.
