Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Peter Cavalier Commuting via train to and from Manhattan took up a lot of time, some of which I filled by thinking up ideas for a story about my banking career. My first novel, Bank Street, covered only the first three years out of college and in a bank management training program. The time period of the late 1970s was a transformative era in the workplace. Social and cultural upheavals contributed to changes in the workplace, such as the emergence of women in a management career track. Technology was in its nascent stages and developed more rapidly with the dawn of the 1980s, the backdrop for my planned sequel.
