Pen&Quill Read I believe it stands for "United Kingdom Middle Grade" novels in the U.S. books for kids between the ages of like 8-14 are just called MG (middle grade). But personally I don't care how old I get I still love reading MG books, a lot of the time their story lines are more interesting and more developed then a lot of YA (Young Adult) or women's novels.

If you liked Wolf Wilder you may also enjoy...
The Wolf keepers by Elise Broach( for stories with kids and wolves)
Greenglass House by Kate Milford ( for those cozy winter reads)
Tsarina by J. Nelle Patrick(for fictional stories set in Russia during the revolution)
Up and down the Scratchy Mountains by Laurel Snyder ( for that fun whimsical writing:-) )
And last but not least..
The War that Saved My Life by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley ( for kids historical fiction that deals with hard issues)
Happy reading!
