Arshnoor It is defiantly as good as Shiver,maybe even better!
In the beginning it might seem a little boring but later on it gets exciting!
Never give up on reading!

This answer contains spoilers… (view spoiler)[ In the second book of the Shiver series, Grace and Sam struggle to keep their relationship together, while Grace lies to her parents and keeps a secret from them, and Sam copes with his werewolf past. Sam, a used to be werewolf, has now stayed permanently human. Everyone expected Sam to die after Isabel inserted Sam and Jack with a bacteria that will induce a very strong fever in order to stay with Grace, his girlfriend, and be a human. Beck, some would say the father of Sam, has now turned into a wolf forever. Before Beck had stayed a wolf permanently, he had bitten four humans and turned them into werewolves. Sam saw then that he was now going to train each wolf with his teachings and knowledge from Beck and thought everything was now perfectly fine, but then, he saw something was wrong with Grace. Grace was bleeding blood from her nose, she started getting that horrible stench of a werewolf, and had an excruciating pain in her stomach. Just like a werewolf. He also saw that Cole, one of the new werewolves was a handful to deal with, after seeing him constantly changing into a werewolf, and the worst of his problems was he was a popstar. Which means his fans are thinking he died and all the werewolves can get exposed if he changes in public into a werewolf.
If you like adventurous and dramatic books, well this is the book for you! Maggie Stiefvater, the author of the Shiver series, is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the novels Shiver, Linger, and last but not least, Forever. She is also the author of Lament: The Faerie Queen’s Deception and Ballad: A Gathering of Faerie. Overall, the rating of this book is one of the best books because if you like werewolves, you might even fall in love with this book. A book that is quite similar to Linger is the Twilight series because of the romance and werewolves. Many people have said that the Shiver series is actually better than the Twilight series. In Linger, it includes many adventurous, dramatic, and extraordinary scenes that gets you at the edge of your seat. But, I may have to warn you. Some parts of the book are slightly confusing changing scenes from people of the book, which you might get tired of if you don’t like books like this. But if you don’t mind scene changes, I would consider you reading this amazing book. I would recommend this book for ages 12 and up and also mature teens because some parents might get angry of the language. (hide spoiler)]

Elizabeth I agree it is boring at the start, but the story gets good.
I especially like how the author opens up or focuse on Isabel, cuz really the relationship that Sam has sucks!
SAMs story is good his before life as a human, but now that he is human it's not as interesting, he seems more like he is the female in the story but I'm only on page 280
