Thinking about doing this for a book club. Are there any scenes of graphic sexual assault or harm that happens to children? Thanks so much!

Lised There is not any sexual assault scenes and no children are involved what so ever. The only violence is when they speak of the war and the description of the bruises on one of the characters face, only as graphic as you can imagine it. Great read I highly recommend it for your book club.
Cassie There is nothing graphic like that is this book. There's basically one or two scenes with like PG-13 descriptions of sex, but not a lot of detail overall. The most "graphic" descriptions are of some abuse / fighting type scenes, but even those are pretty tame. Nothing with kids.
