Anne asked:

What do you consider swearing? I felt that Olive had a pretty foul mouth the whole book. And yet in the hospital she says the "s" word and she and her son seem shocked that she SWORE. I thought that was pretty unbelievable.

Veronica Zaleha Godfrey, hell's bells, phooey on you . . . she seems to use idioms that avoid swearing, rather than actual profanity, like she does in the hospital.
Judy Lindow She seems to say Godfrey a lot ... I don't remember lots of swearing.
Jodi She is shocking at best. That is the one hilarious surprise of Olive. Unexpectedly improper.

What other of Strout's books shall I read?

I'm afraid Olive Again is primo and don't want to be disappointed by her other books.......
