There isn't much violence in the book. There is some PTSD from half-remembered trauma. I guess you could call the ending of the book to have violence, but no bloody, gory combat. If you'd like to know the extent of the "violence" I can tell you exactly, but let me know (also tell me if you mind spoilers, I can make it general if you want or specific).
