Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Sally M. Chetwynd
I've been involved in living history and reenactments for many years. This interest has taken me many places, and I've met many people, unique and talented in many ways. Friends had told me for years that I should write a Civil War novel, but I hadn't had an inspiration to do so. When I attended the Civil War weekend events at Waterloo Village, an historical village founded before the American Revolution, located in central New Jersey on the Morris Canal, the idea for "Bead of Sand" came to me. It is not an historical novel, but it is about reenacting and museum village life.
