Charlie asked:

For fiction I typically enjoy listening to titles via Audible. Out of curiosity I looked inside a copy at my local bookstore (a signed copy no less!) and I noticed that there had been a lot of fun things done with the formatting of the paragraphs in certain sections of this book. Did the formatting profoundly impact your experience? I see that the audio version has multiple narrators which is often a plus.

Lindsey Smith The formatting of the book didn't do anything for me to enhance the story. And some of it was actually distracting. I've read poor reviews about the readers of the audio version so in would suggest sticking with written.
