Aram asked:

Just finished IJ and am wondering if there's definitive textual evidence that the wraith that appears to Don Gately is in fact James O. Incandenza? A quote would be nice. I know it doesn't say so explicitly, but which part of the text makes it clear that it's JOI's wraith?

Harrison Saich The wraith also mentions Wild Turkey as its former drink of choice. Not explicit but a pretty strong implication.
Mariano He introduces his son as a tennis player who resembles Hal or Orin, he talks about the entertainment, and his issues about being a father.
