Goodreads asked L.D. Raye:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

L.D. Raye Make sure you are writing for you and from your own heart. If you don't know and love what you write, no one else will feel that passion. Put yourself into your work and actually feel as if you are living right there in your story. Then if the sales don't equal up to what you know your masterpiece is worth, don't doubt yourself. Keep that passion about writing. Just because a book doesn't sale doesn't mean it's terrible because there are plenty of books that are not so good making plenty of sales. It's all about timing, hard work, and the love and dedication you have to your talent.
