Goodreads asked Casey Bryce:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Casey Bryce Well, the best thing about being a NOVEL writer is that I retain full control over everything--there's no producer or studio executive demanding that I make a change which might compromise my artistic integrity.

But more broadly, I think the best thing is simply the canvas writing affords me in creating any world, any person, any scenario my imagination can conjure. It's an almost thrilling freedom to leave the mundane world behind for a while and create something completely fresh and, dare I say, impossible.
