I've read several reviews which give content and trigger warnings for graphic violence and sex. I had to stop reading GoT (first novel) because I was disturbed by the rape scenes and general vulgarity. Even so, I am drawn to the story and love to read long, beefy, weighty novels. My favourite book of the last several years is Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell. How graphic is this novel?

Incredibly. I'm a huge fan of Thrones I would say it stands on equal footing with vulgarity and is in some aspects more graphic. At times I found myself put off by it.
