Is there anyone else who feels that Contraband was substantially ghost written by a much lessor talent that Woods? This was a waste of time. So disappointing.

Holly I thought that was a possibility. I want to know how old Stone is since he had the most incredible stamina in the sack. This was very disappointing: no plot to speak of; gratuitous sex that was too graphic. And Dino and Viv didn't ring true to their characters in this edition. Maybe the publisher is putting too much pressure on Woods to crank out three or four books a year. Frankly, I liked his earlier works better. Go to the library. Don't wast your money on this one.
Wanda Gibbons I so wanted to say in my review that the plot was a good idea but it needed a better writer. My mind was flooded with suggestions. You pick your own. So much more could have been done in terms of really good detective work and a sensational story might have been created. Sloppy, gratuitous sex does not solve crimes.
Jackie Shriver Yeah, something we definitely off. Joan was not the same either. And the ending fell short. Like, literally... it just ENDED... boom. Not the normal Stuart Wood feel to this one at all. Kind of could not wait for it to end, and it was a little convoluted.
Susan Katz Now that you bring it up, you have a good point. Too much sex stuff and not a really interesting plot.
