Goodreads asked Kenna McKinnon:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kenna McKinnon My most recent book is called Engaging the Dragon and I got the idea from a publisher I once queried, who was interested in dragons. There's no difficulty getting ideas for books, but this particular book is a fantasy and there are several characters on an alien planet, who are spinning off into sequels. At the moment, my WIP is a spin-off from Engaging the Dragon called Timothie Hill and the Cloak of Power, and it's based on a superhero hair stylist named after my own hair stylist. We discussed this about a month ago as I was having my hair cut, and he is thrilled that I have him starring in his own adventure book. It's a lot of fun. Engaging the Dragon is being published by Creativia, my current publisher, and I will submit the sequel to Creativia as well.
