Does this book have a slow beginning ? because I tried to read Delirium but found it so boring and simply couldn't finish it

Talyah I'd give it at least 30 pages. The mystery of Rooms is what keeps it going, verses Delirium which wasn't a mystery novel. Also, Delirium was a YA trilogy and needed more time to get started and set things up. Novels need to jump right into things, as they don't have near as much time.
