To answer your question, I truly don't have any thoughts or inklings on the subject--your guess is every bit as good as mine. I knew the story could only end one way, so I was always focused on that being the last chapter...I never gave thought to what came next, which is why there aren't really any hints at it. Thus, I leave it to the readers' interpretations, which are every bit as valid as my own.

I’ve heard this book deals with domestic abuse (a reader compared the aunt to a muggle Dolores Umbridge), but does it stray into sexual abuse as well (between the two boys)? I just want to be prepared if so! Also as a librarian for southern Maryland and growing up in one of the most southern counties, it makes me happy as a bisexual/Pan/still figuring it out woman to have representation from the area! ❤️
