Not a sequel, a prequel. Pike needs to write the beginning story of the first war between the sastra and asurians. To get a feel for the origins of the asurians and the sastra and I REALLY wanted to see rankar in action.

An afterword at least would've been nice. Just a quick "Seriously, the world was fine, Jenny went to college and settled down with Daniel, Terry's book was on the NYT best seller list forever, sunshine and butterflies."
